Summary
We are looking for an Assembly Operative to join our tambour door production team
Your Role - responsibilities include:-
. Working on the assembly line and producing our products based on specific measurements, calculations, drawings or instructions under the supervision of a Level 2 Assembly Operative or Supervisor
. Packing boxes, loading and unloading materials and finished goods and adhering to safety protocols
. Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects
. Reporting incidents, faulty operations or product imperfections on the assembly line or Supervisor/Production & Site Manager
. Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly
Your Profile
. Previous experience in this type of role
. Able to work individually and as part of a team
. You will be attentive to detail and accurate when taking measurements
. Takes pride in your work
. The ability to understand and receive instructions
. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
. The ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment (within safety guidelines)
. Ability to work on one's own initiative
. Good knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations
. A forklift licence would be an advantage would be an advantage, but not essential
. A solid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly procedures would be an advantage, but not essential
. An ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics would be an advantage, but not essential
