Summary
Two reliable, confident and warm hearted Personal Assistants are required to support a young boy living in the HU6 area of the city.
He is an active, curious child who loves soft play, being outdoors, and exploring new places. Your role will be to support him safely in the community – for example at soft play, in the park, or on local outings.
He can say a few words, but mostly communicates in his own way, including using colours to show what he wants and how he feels. Because communication can be challenging for him, you will need to be patient, observant, and willing to learn and respond to his individual communication style.
He requires support with personal care, and you should be comfortable providing this as part of the role.
We are looking for PAs who are:
• calm, kind and consistent
• able to build trust and connection
• confident supporting a child with communication differences
• reliable and able to work independently
Experience with children or with additional needs is helpful but not essential – the right attitude, warmth and willingness to learn are what matter most.
