Are you an experienced Emergency Nurse looking for your next challenge? We are seeking enthusiastic, forward-thinking and highly motivatedBand 6 Sisters / Charge Nursesto join the Emergency Department team at Frimley Park Hospital.
As a Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse, you will provide strong clinical leadership and support the day-to-day management of the department while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. You will lead by example in a fast-paced environment, using your advanced clinical skills to support patients, families and staff.
Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in coordinating patient flow, maintaining high standards of care and safety, and supporting the development and supervision of junior staff. You will also contribute to service improvement, audits and the ongoing development of the Emergency Department.
We are looking for nurses who are passionate about emergency care, confident in leadership and decision-making, and committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Previous ward-based experience is essential, along with relevant Emergency Department experience.

As a Senior Nurse, you will:
• Take charge of either the whole Emergency Department (with support from the Manager) or an allocated area of the department.
• Run your area with minimal supervision, maintaining patient flow and ensuring a safe, effective environment.
• Plan early for safe patient discharge and manage the overall safety of your area.
• Support and mentor junior staff, acting as a role model and resource.
Serve as a link Nurse, assisting the Team Leader in managing team members.
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, contributing to operational decision-making and team building.
• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ care needs to ensure high-quality outcomes.
