Trade Counter Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a Trade Counter Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role combining customer service, sales, and hands-on warehouse duties.
This position is offered on a temp-to-permanent basis, providing long-term career potential and future salary progression for the right candidate.
The Role
This is a well-rounded, fast-paced position where no two days are the same. Responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent customer service face-to-face, via phone, and email
- Supporting sales activity and ensuring customers receive a high level of service
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders within the warehouse
- General trade counter support and administration
- Using Microsoft systems for day-to-day tasks
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Previous experience in sales or customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to write clear and professional emails
- Comfortable using Excel and basic IT systems
- A hands-on approach with willingness to support across departments
- £12.82 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am - 4:30pm
- 1 hour unpaid break
