Join the dedicated team at Manchester NHS Foundation Trust, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional Hotel Services across our hospitals. This leadership position offers the opportunity to ensure the highest standards of food and domestic cleaning services, directly contributing to patient satisfaction and overall care quality. With a focus on service excellence and continuous improvement, you will build and nurture strong working relationships with clinical and operational teams throughout the trust. What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with the Finance team to support achieving budgeted profit and turnover targets for services and accounts
- Lead and manage a team, including recruitment, development, performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with HR policies
- Ensure high levels of client and service user satisfaction, monitored through regular surveys and review processes
- Oversee health and safety standards across all hospital operations, including managing agency staff and ensuring compliance
- Manage third party contractors and suppliers to deliver quality services that provide value for money, ensuring contract compliance
- Contribute to strategic discussions within the senior management team, sharing ideas to improve site performance and implementing new policies
- Demonstrate flexibility by supporting a 24/7 service operation, including participation in on call rotas and weekend cover as required
What You Bring:
- Strong operational background in Domestic services, facilities management and catering sectors.
- An experienced leader who is effective directing others
- Strong understanding of consumer trends in relation to retail and food service
- Experience in a hospital environment and comfortable operating at ward level with a strong bedside manner
- Knowledge of food hygiene issue
- Strong understanding of Microsoft office and general IT systems
- Willingness to get involved and offer a flexible approach to working
