Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team working within The Centre Surgery, and supporting with audit and clinical work within Enhanced Access and Same Day Access. This advert is for a practitioner to work on a Friday 12pm - 8.30pm, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. Additionality hours may be available as part of our EA and SDA provision, but would be paid at our set rate. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role requires a thorough understanding of public health principles, anatomy knowledge, and the ability to administer medication effectively. The General Practitioner will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients while ensuring their comfort and well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to diagnose medical conditions. Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual patient needs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including referrals to specialists when necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients and their families about health management, preventive care, and lifestyle choices. Stay informed about advancements in medical practices and public health initiatives. Completion of audit work Qualifications Medical degree from an accredited institution with valid registration to practice as a General Practitioner. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well as proficiency in medication administration. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and treatment plans. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with medical best practices. Pay Rates This position will attract a salary of £13,000 per session.
