Summary
NEW ROLE - Upholsterers
Based between Wakefield/Dewsbury
Immediate Starts on a Temporary to Permanent basis
You will be joining a business who manufactures high end, luxury beds working with premium fabrics.
Working within a modern, professionally equipped workshop for a Client who invests in both the latest tools and machinery and provide ongoing personal development for their Employees this is a great opportunity for experienced Upholsterers to be part of their growth plans.
Duties
✅ Upholster bed frames and headboards to a luxury finish
✅ Working with fabrics such as velvet, linen, and boucle
✅ Follow order sheets and collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines
✅ Maintain a high standard of workmanship and a “right first time” approach
✅ Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet brand standards
✅ Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet brand standards
✅ Keep your workspace tidy and organised
✅ Support with general factory tasks when required (packing, loading, moving stock)
Candidate Requirements
✅ We require a minimum of 2 years in an upholstery role
(beds/sofas/furniture)
✅ Excellent attention to detail
✅ Good balance of both speed and quality
✅ Understanding of working with high quality products
⏰ Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 0800 – 1700
Payrate
Up to £16.00 per hour based upon experience
