We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the delivery of an efficient, compliant and cost-effective integrated facilities service for our client’s building(s).
This role is crucial in ensuring high standards across all ISS-delivered services, fostering strong client relationships, and driving excellence in day-to-day operations.
Job Description
We are looking for a Facilities Manager who can lead a motivated ISS IFS team, champion health and safety compliance, and ensure all Service Level Agreements are consistently met.
This role requires a confident communicator, a strong team leader and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with varied operational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operational facilities activity for the site, ensuring full H&S and legislative compliance.
Act as the key site contact for ISS services including Security, Cleaning and Catering.
Lead the on-site FM team, including rota management, absence management, performance reviews and development conversations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, carrying out inspections, preparing performance reports and ensuring SLA delivery.
Oversee building maintenance activity through the Maintenance Lead, monitoring PPM, reactive works and compliance.
Manage and project-lead minor works, ensuring cost control, client liaison, documentation and delivery to schedule.
Handle financial processes including raising purchase orders and managing Coupa in line with ISS site budgets.
Ensure completion of site inductions, security procedures, access card production and maintenance of business continuity documentation.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Experience in a facilities management role.
IOSH Managing Safely (minimum requirement).
Strong IT literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Proactive, positive approach with excellent communication skills.
Able to work independently, to deadlines and under pressure.
Strong sense of accountability and commitment to personal development.
Effective team leader and team player.
