Summary
We are recruiting for skilled MIG Welders to join our client's production team in Swadlincote. This role is for a Day shift.
The successful candidates will be responsible for welding metal components with precision and efficiency. Applicants should possess mechanical knowledge and be comfortable handling hand tools and power tools to complete tasks accurately.
Responsibilities
• Perform MIG welding on various metal components, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment efficiently to assemble and modify metal parts.
• Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts, ensuring proper fit and finish.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
• Proven experience in MIG welding
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and standards.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
