The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced Facilities Assistant looking for a fresh challenge? We are looking for enthusiastic and positive people to join our team, to provide an excellent support service in our student and commercial guest accommodation.
In this role you will be a part of the Property Team based primarily in student accommodation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our accommodation team in a newly created role, where you will have responsibility for all aspects of general maintenance and condition of the UoE student accommodation properties.
We have 2 positions available, full-time (35 hours per week). The annual salary for this post is £24,547 per annum.
Normal hours of work are 09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday, with the finishing time earlier for the part-time positions. Weekend working may be required, especially during commercial and summer periods.
To be eligible to apply for this role you should have previous maintenance experience, be able to follow written and verbal instructions, have excellent time management skills, as well as be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers.
