Looking for a role where you're genuinely valued, not just "extra support" at the back of the class?

We're working with a welcoming primary school in Sheffield S6 that's ready for a brilliant Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. Whether you're after full-time stability or part-time flexibility, there's space here for you to make a real difference.

You know those moments, when a child finally "gets it", or when your calm approach turns a tricky day around? That's what this role is all about.
- Supporting pupils across the classroom, both in groups and 1:1
- Helping to create a calm, positive learning environment
- Working closely with the class teacher to keep lessons flowing
- Supporting children with additional needs where required
- Being that steady, reassuring presence pupils rely on
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (required)
- Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
- A calm, patient, and positive approach
- Someone who can build trust quickly, with pupils and staff alike
- A team player who's happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in
- Friendly, supportive staff team who genuinely look out for each other
- Well-structured school day, no chaos, just good routines
- Opportunities to develop your skills and grow in confidence
- Flexible working options to suit your lifestyle
- Weekly PAYE pay, no umbrella companies
- Free access to CPD, including SEND and behaviour support training
- A dedicated consultant who actually listens to what you want
- Local roles that fit around you

You're not "just a TA". You're the calm in the chaos, the extra pair of hands, and often the reason a child has a good day. This school gets that, and they're ready to welcome someone just like you.
