Our client, a reputable and long-established automotive service centre in Chester-le-Street, is seeking a skilled and experienced MOT Technician to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent MOT Technician opportunity for a qualified professional to work in a well-regarded environment with a stable, friendly team and excellent benefits.
Benefits:
- Competitive basic salary up to £32,000 per annum
- OTE potential of up to £38,000 annually
- Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- No weekends required
- 22 days holiday, plus bank holidays

Duties of the MOT Technician:
- Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards
- Repair and service vehicles across a range of makes and models
- Inspect vehicles for wear, tear, and general faults as an MOT Technician
- Perform all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repairs utilizing the latest technology
- Provide excellent customer service and advise customers on necessary repairs or maintenance
- Complete jobs to high standards with attention to detail
Requirements:
- Valid MOT Licence
- NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in automotive service/repair
- Ability to perform mechanical repairs up to Level 2 or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
