Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician position on behalf of our client, a well-established family-run dealership in Stockton. This Vehicle Technician role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals seeking a stable and rewarding position within a reputable local business. Working as a Vehicle Technician within this team will allow you to showcase your technical expertise and contribute to a dealership renowned for its excellent customer service.

- OTE up to £39,000, rewarding performance and productivity
- Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with Saturday mornings on a rota basis

Duties:
- Carry out detailed technical repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles
- Diagnose faults accurately using appropriate equipment
- Ensure all work is completed within specified timeframes and to manufacturer standards
- Maintain high standards of customer service and communication
- Complete relevant documentation and reports accurately
- Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- Previous experience in a main dealer or independent garage environment is highly desirable
- Valid MOT license is advantageous but not essential
- Strong technical skills with a clear understanding of vehicle systems
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
