We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Mobile Trailer Technician to join their dynamic team. Duties:
- Perform all aspects of maintenance, repair, and servicing on trailers, including tail lifts and curtain siders, as part of the Mobile Trailer Technician role
- Diagnose faults accurately and implement effective repairs
- Conduct inspections to ensure safety and compliance standards are met
- Carry out on-site and mobile repairs at client locations, ensuring minimal downtime
- Maintain detailed records of work carried out and communicate effectively with clients
- Adhere to all health & safety protocols and company policies
- Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Trailer Technician or in a similar HGV or mobile repair role
- Strong understanding of trailer systems, including tail lifts, curtain siders, and associated components
- Valid HGV driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential
- Level 2 or 3 mechanical qualifications (or equivalent) are preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
