Summary
Machine Setter / Operator – Immediate Start | Temporary (Minimum 8 Weeks)
Location: Rochdale
⏰ Hours: Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm / Friday: 6:00am – 11:30am
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary ongoing (Minimum 8 Weeks)
Machine Setter / Operator required for an immediate start with a well-established manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate with a background in machine setting and operating within a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate production machinery to required specifications
- Install and adjust tooling for efficient machine performance
- Work on tube line machinery producing ironing board legs
- Ensure consistent quality and output targets are achieved
- Carry out basic fault finding and routine maintenance
- Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Machine Setter / Machine Operator
- Experience working with tooling and production machinery
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to early shifts
