Summary

Technical Sales Manager - Facades

UK‑wide role | Field‑based

Are you a commercially driven technical sales professional with strong knowledge of the UK façades market? This is a high‑impact, national role focused on specifying façade solutions into major construction projects and building long‑term partnerships with façade contractors.

The Opportunity

You'll take ownership of a defined UK territory, driving specification and sales of façade fire barriers and aluminium sub‑frame systems on large, complex projects. Working closely with contractors, consultants and internal technical teams, you'll turn opportunities into long‑term revenue while positioning a harmonised façade offering ahead of competitors.

This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role with significant autonomy, influence, and visibility across major projects.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Driving sales and specification of façade systems on major UK projects
  • Managing and growing key contractor accounts while developing new business
  • Tracking and managing projects through CRM and project documentation systems
  • Providing on‑site and off‑site technical and commercial support
  • Promoting a full façade product portfolio across multiple stakeholders
  • Delivering CPD presentations where required
  • Working closely with engineering and internal teams to support specifications
  • Staying current with building regulations and their commercial impact
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in external technical sales within the façades sector
  • Strong knowledge of façade applications, procedures, and construction processes
  • Proven experience specifying products into major UK construction projects
  • Commercial mindset with a track record of hitting sales and profit targets
  • Confident relationship builder with strong negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working nationally with regular travel (primarily South UK)
  • GCSE level education minimum, with solid maths and IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, CRM)
