We have a vacancy for a Healthcare Support Worker to work at our Watford Hospital and Hemel Hempstead site within our department covering outpatient clinics.

You will be required to work 18.75 hours during the day.



As a Healthcare Support Worker you will be an essential part of the nursing team. You will do a fantastic job providing care and support to our patients.

You will need to be the kind of person who puts their patients first, providing the best care for every patient, every day.

With a new hospital planned for Watford, work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital and plans for a neighbourhood healthcare centre in Hemel Hempstead, this is an exciting time to join us.

The core hours will be from 8:30am to 4:30pm

The main duties will be to prepare patients for all cardiac procedures.

To prepare and maintain the environment for clinical activity.

To measure patients’ height, weight, blood pressure and carrying out ECG.

Chaperone professional staff where appropriate.
