Temporary School Receptionist
Location: Near Redcar
Hours: Full-time
Temporary - 20th April to July
We are currently seeking a friendly, organised and reliable School Receptionist to join a welcoming school near Redcar on a full-time, temporary basis, starting 20th April and running until July.
This is a key front‑of‑house role and would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment and supporting pupils, staff and visitors alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors and staff
- Managing telephone calls and email enquiries in a professional manner
- Signing visitors in and out in line with safeguarding procedures
- Providing general administrative support to the school office
- Handling pupil-related queries with discretion and sensitivity
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (school experience desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, professional approach and strong organisational skills
- A good understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding
- The ability to work full time for the duration of the assignment
