Care and Support - Cherrybrook Care Home
Contract: Full Time , Part- Time, Bank Salary: £12.71 Per Hour Shift Type: Days & Nights Available Contracted hours: 24 to 42Cherrybrook Care Home is a large, purpose designed service in Bradford, providing specialist care across two units for 120 residents with complex mental health needs, dementia and challenging behaviours. The home delivers high quality, clinically led care within a structured and supportive environment, combining specialist nursing expertise with a strong focus on dignity, stability and person centred support.
Care Assistant
- £12.71 per hour
- Full time contracted hours
- Day and night shifts available
- Paid DBS, uniform provided, pension scheme
- Onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with their day to day needs, delivering high quality, person centred care within a complex care environment. You will assist with personal care, mobility and daily routines while promoting dignity, independence and comfort at all times.
You will build positive relationships with residents, providing reassurance, companionship and consistent support. Your approach will help create a calm and stable environment for individuals living with complex mental health needs, dementia and behaviours that challenge.
Working closely with the wider care team, you will follow care plans, maintain accurate records and contribute to a safe and well organised home. Your role will have a direct impact on residents’ wellbeing and overall quality of life.
