Location: Ryton-on-Dunsmore (CV8)
Shift: 05:00 - 13:00, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £12.40 per hour
Job Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative / Counterbalance Forklift Driver based in the Ryton (CV8) area. This is a varied role working within a busy recycling and waste management environment. Around 70% of the role will involve recycling duties, including sorting materials and cardboard baling, with the remaining 30% operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move materials around the site.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is comfortable working in an industrial or yard-based environment and happy carrying out manual recycling duties alongside forklift work.
Key Duties:

Sorting and handling recyclable materials

Operating cardboard baling machines

General recycling and waste management duties
-
Loading, unloading and moving materials using a counterbalance forklift

Keeping the work area clean and organised

Following site health and safety procedures
Requirements:

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence - ESSENTIAL

Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift

Happy to carry out manual recycling and warehouse duties (majority of the role)

Reliable and able to work the early morning shift

Good awareness of health and safety in a warehouse or yard environment
