Summary
The Specialist paediatric palliative care team hosted by Martin House team also has a close collaborative relationship with Andys hospice in Grimsby where we provide some specialist support to their GP and nursing team. Our team is embedded in Leeds Childrens Hospital (close working with many different paediatric specialties including respiratory/neurology/gastroenterology/ICU/cardiology/neonatology), Bradford palliative care team, community nursing teams and hospitals across the area. The trainee is expected to be involved in audit, teaching and management sessions. Trainees can get involved with the Martin House Research Centre and undertake research.
