Summary
Job OverviewCarry out all tasks assigned to you from your Charge Hand and Plant & Transport Supervisor.
Operate various ground maintenance equipment as required in a professional and safe manner.
Assist in the day to day running of grounds maintenance tasks.
Ensure all works and projects assigned to your responsibility are carried out in accordance with mitie and MOD
processes.
Document any changes and work delays ensuring any changes are brought to your Supervisor and Line
Mangers attention.
Be accountable for the equipment in your charge and ensure daily maintenance on said equipment is carried
out.
Ensure all materials for works are fully checked for suitability and are booked to the correct work order.
Produce a quality end product first time with no re-work required.
Carry out any other duties as directed by your line Manager the Management team.
Main Duties
Operate plant equipment and machinery ground maintenance in a professional and safe manner.
Carry out ground maintenance duties as instructed the Plant and Transport Supervisor and Manager.
House keeping on vehicles, plant equipment and areas of responsibility.
Reporting any faults or incidents to your line Management.
Ensure all qualifications are current and in date.
Secondary Duties
Assisting other departments as required.
What we are looking forHold a driving licence B class Essential, Hold HGV C class licence (Desirable).
Hold or working towards a Plant Operator Card or equivalent.
Knowledge of ground maintenance is desirable.
Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
Previous experience working in the Falklands or working abroad ( Desirable).
