Summary
What is the role?
As a Housekeeping Assistant you will:
• Maintain a clean serene environment for patients and their families
• Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene standards are met
• Assist with laundry, cleaning and organising common areas
What we expect of you?
As a member of the Hospice team the post holder will be always uphold the values of the Hospice and be pro-active in attending to the needs of all patients, families and carers, ensuring. You will ensure that all care is patient led and focused on the needs of the individual. You will also have a keen interest in Palliative and End of Life Care
As a Housekeeping Assistant you will:
• Preferred previous housekeeping experience in health/public sector environment
• Have an understanding of the Principles of Health & Safety, Manual Handling, infection control and fire safety
• Compassionate and respectful attitude
• Ability to work in a healthcare environment with empathy and discretion
• Be able to work flexible shift patterns
