Duties as English Teacher:- Deliver engaging English lessons using provided plans
- Teach key areas including literature, language, reading, writing, and comprehension
- Support students in developing strong communication and analytical skills
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Adapt teaching strategies to support learners with different abilities
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Collaborate with colleagues during longer‑term placements
- Contribute to the wider learning environment
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in English language and literature
- Confident behaviour and classroom management skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students across varying age groups
- Adaptable across different school environments
- Good communication and organisational skills
