Summary
A Vacancy at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
We are looking for a Radiology Department Assistant to join our team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
The post holder will be required to work 15 hours per week ( across two days) within the Breast Imaging Suite at St Albans City Hospital.
The service runs Monday to Friday.
Interviews will take place on 22 April in the Radiology Department at St Albans City Hospital.
Duties will include:
• Welcoming all patients and service users to the department.
• Completing administrative processes and supporting patient flow through the department.
• Booking patients in for their examinations and directing patients to the relevant waiting areas.
• Answering telephone queries.
• Preparing examination rooms and equipment.
• Assisting the Radiologists, Radiographers and Radiology Nurses during procedures.
With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.
