⭐ About the Role
As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting both the class teacher and pupils. Every day brings something different-whether you're helping deliver creative lessons, offering targeted support to individual learners, or assisting with engaging activities that inspire curiosity and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering fun, engaging, and effective lessons
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to children who may need extra guidance
- Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a calm, active learning environment
- Prepare and organise lesson materials to enhance classroom learning
- Support children with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring every child is included
- Get involved in school events, trips, and extracurricular activities
✅ What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teaching Assistant with relevant training or certifications
- Experience working with KS2 pupils
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
- A genuine passion for education and helping children succeed
- Knowledge of SEN strategies is desirable but not essential.
