Your new role
As the Year 4 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
- Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages confidence and curiosity
- Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and plan next steps
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes.
- Play an active role in the wider school community and extracurricular opportunities
Both experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply-your enthusiasm and commitment matter most.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching in KS2 (placement experience is acceptable)
- Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for all pupils
- A creative approach to planning and delivering lessons
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing
