Role Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable 7.5t Driver to join our busy team in Erith. This is an exciting opportunity
for a motivated individual looking for a new challenge in a fast‑paced and customer‑focused environment. You will play a vital
role in ensuring timely and safe deliveries to our customers while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver goods safely and efficiently to merchant businesses and retail customers
* Provide excellent customer service at every delivery
* Check, load and unload goods safely, ensuring all deliveries are signed for
* Return all paperwork daily and record any returns, shortages, or errors
* Take responsibility for company stock and vehicle at all times
* Drive safely and comply with all relevant vehicle monitoring KPIs
* Download tachograph data promptly and adhere to permitted driving times
* Ensure CPC qualification is valid and up to date
* Read and follow the driver’s handbook
* Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
* Follow company procedures when reporting accidents
* Complete compliance and training modules on time
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness and tidiness
* Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
* Follow correct manual handling guidelines
* Support warehouse colleagues when not on delivery routes
About You
* Previous experience working in a plumbing & heating or central heating merchant is desirable
* Minimum two years’ experience as a delivery driver
* Reliable, customer‑focused, and committed to safe working practices
* UK Category B or C1 licence
* Able to complete daily vehicle checks and delivery routes
