Are you a qualified teacher looking for a better work-life balance or a pathway into your next permanent role?
We are seeking adaptable, dedicated, and professional Supply Teachers to support a variety of Primary, Secondary, and SEND schools across Plymouth and the surrounding South West region. Whether you are looking for the total flexibility of day-to-day supply or a foot in the door for a long-term position starting in September 2026, we want to hear from you.
The RoleAs a supply teacher, no two days are the same. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behavior effectively, and ensuring a positive learning environment.

Flexibility: Choose between Full-Time or Part-Time hours to suit your lifestyle.
-
Variety: Experience different school settings across Plymouth, Saltash, and Ivybridge.
-
Career Progression: Many of our supply placements lead to Long-Term (LT) or Permanent contracts. Use this term to build relationships with local SLT and secure your spot for the new academic year in September.
-
Qualification: Must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). (Applications from ECTs are highly encouraged).
-
Transport: While not strictly essential for all city-centre schools, a Driving License and access to a vehicle is highly desired to reach our partner schools in more rural or outlying areas.
-
Classroom Presence: Ability to hit the ground running with strong behavior management skills and an adaptable teaching style.
-
Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
-

Support: A dedicated consultant who knows the Plymouth education landscape inside out.
-
Development: Access to free CPD and safeguarding training to keep your skills sharp.
