About the Role
We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 (HGV) Tramper Driver to join our growing transport team. This role involves tramping throughout the week, delivering goods nationwide while staying overnight in the vehicle. If you enjoy being on the road and working independently, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out nationwide deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and according to schedule
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Secure loads correctly and comply with all transport regulations
- Complete relevant paperwork and use transport management systems where required
- Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with customers and colleagues
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 3 months Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Good understanding of driver hours, tachograph rules, and UK road regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexible approach to working away during the week (tramping)
