Summary
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled)

- Salary: Up to £18.50 per hour, Overtime: £27.75 per hour (time and a half) - depending on experience
- Hours: Monday to Friday - 39 hours per week, with a 12.00 mid-day finish on Fridays

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias to coverall all site maintenance including machine maintenance and breakdowns.
This hands-on role involves working with a variety of engineering machinery, addressing breakdowns, and following monthly maintenance schedules. While both mechanical and electrical skills are required, this role will primarily focus on mechanical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain various site machinery, including Machine Shop Mills, Lathes, Drills, and Sheet-Metal & Fabricating machines.
- Assemble and fit new equipment.
- Perform electrical works around the site.
- Handle plumbing tasks.
- Cover general site maintenance and breakdowns.
- Uphold quality engineering standards in the factory and on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, discipline, attendance, and punctuality standards.
Working Hours:
- Monday: 7:30 am- 4:00 pm
- Tuesday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Wednesday & Thursday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
- Friday: 7:30 am - 12:00 noon (unless working overtime)
Overtime:
- Generally available and paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
