Job Title: Support Worker

Working Pattern:
• Every Monday 4.30-6pm
• Every Tuesday 4.30-6pm
• Every Wednesday 8-10am
• Every other Saturday 8 a.m-1pm
• Every other Sunday 9 a.m-1pm
There will also be other shifts available on a “as and when” basis
Rates of Pay: Weekdays - £12.85 per hour, Weekends - £15.50 per hour
Work Area/Location: Employers home address in Wick, Bristol, BS30
Responsible to: Directly to the employer
About the Job:
I'm looking for a care assistant to join our lovely team to help me with my day to day needs in my own house.
I'm a disabled lady who uses a wheelchair and I share my home with a small dog (so dog lovers a bonus).
My home is approximately 10 minutes from Kingswood 22 minutes from Bath, or 25 minutes from Bristol centre and there's free parking just outside.
Your role would include daily activities within the home such as personal care, cleaning, cooking, shopping, telephone calls / form filling, maintaining confidefnitally etc. and driving my Renault Master van to appointments or social activities.
This position requires you to support the client in their home, so you must currently live in the UK and have the right to work here. We are unable to sponsor any applicants.
Person Specification:
• Driving license - essential
• Be punctual, reliable and flexible
• Must be honest and trustworthy
• Establish a professional standard of care, which should be maintained at all times
• Be prepared to undertake any training that may be required to meet the needs of the role
• Ensure that due consideration is given to health and safety at all times
• Respect and safeguard the goods and property of the employer
• Respect privacy and uphold confidentiality at all times
Special Conditions:
A Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) and two satisfactory references are conditional for the post. This is a free and confidential process. Must have a right to work in the UK.
