We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Production Assistant to join our company in Stowmarket.
RPG Innovations is a fast-growing, creative manufacturing company specialising in high-quality personalised gifts. From custom engraved items to bespoke printed homeware, we bring personal stories to life. We are passionate about quality and providing amazing gifts for our customers. We are looking for a motivated Production Assistant to join our friendly, hands-on workshop team. We started our journey in 2020 and we now have state of the art laser cutting technology, a flatbed UV printer, CNC router 2020, vinyl cutters with new machinery and new growth opportunities on the horizon. We’ve built our brand up through various online sales channels along with Facebook, Google and our own website.
We are now looking for someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced production environment to join the team full time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Production & Personalisation: Operate machinery to personalise products, including laser engraving, dye sublimation, heat pressing, or vinyl printing.
• Quality Control: Meticulously check finished products for spelling errors, layout issues, and quality defects.
• Order Fulfilment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare finished gifts for dispatch, ensuring they are perfectly presented.
• Workshop Maintenance: Maintain a tidy, organised, and safe production room. Ensure machines are cleaned and maintained.
• Stock Management: Assist with receiving inventory, tracking material usage, and reporting low stock levels.
• Advertise and promote our products on social media and selling platforms
• Flexibility: Support other departments during peak periods (e.g., Christmas)
Essential Skills
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
• Confidence to appear on live Tik Tok feeds
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or fulfilment environment is preferred but not essential—we provide full training.
• Basic literacy, numeracy, and computer skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks.
• Ability to use your own initiative
• Ability to adapt to changes quickly
• Experience in E-commerce would be an advantage
• A passion for design
• Flexibility to work extra hours during busy periods.
• Keen to learn and develop new skills
