About the role
Source Supply are a specialist supply teaching agency currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming primary school in Worksop. This is a long-term opportunity, ideal for someone passionate about supporting early learning and making a real difference in children’s progress.
The Role:
You will be working closely with Key Stage 1 pupils, delivering targeted intervention sessions to support their development in phonics and early literacy. A key part of the role will involve delivering sessions using the Read, Write, Inc phonics programme. Full training can be provided by the school, making this a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking to develop their skills in phonics delivery.
Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
• Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
• A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
• Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
• Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
• Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
