SEN Teacher
Location: Rochdale

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
£170-£250 per day

About the Role:
You will be working with students who have a range of special educational needs, including complex learning difficulties, autism, and behavioural challenges. The role requires a calm, adaptable, and proactive approach, as well as the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may present with challenging behaviours.

This is not a typical teaching role - it requires patience, consistency, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in a demanding yet highly rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Manage and support challenging behaviour in a positive and structured manner
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and external professionals
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Track and report on student progress

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience working within SEN settings
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Resilience, patience, and emotional intelligence
- A clear understanding of the challenges associated with complex needs
