Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher with experience in SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and SEN (Special Educational Needs) to join an established school in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to students who thrive in supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environments.
About the Role:
You will be delivering high-quality PE lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEMH and SEN, helping them develop physical skills, confidence, and teamwork. This role requires patience, creativity, and adaptability, as well as the ability to inspire and motivate students who may face additional challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons to students with SEMH and SEN
- Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs and abilities
- Promote positive behaviour and build strong relationships with students
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and personal development
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and therapists to support holistic student development
- Contribute to extra-curricular sports and wellbeing activities
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant PE teaching qualification
- Experience teaching PE to students with SEMH and/or SEN
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and adaptable
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
