About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students across Key Stages. You will bring your expertise to help develop students' numeracy, problem-solving, and analytical skills, while contributing to a supportive and ambitious Maths department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students of varying abilities
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Maths curriculum
- Support extra-curricular activities and initiatives within the department
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching Maths in a secondary school
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students effectively
- Commitment to maintaining high standards and expectations
