We are seeking a reliable and adaptable General Secondary Cover Teacher to join an established school in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a flexible teacher who enjoys variety and wants to make a positive impact across multiple subject areas.
About the Role:
As a Cover Teacher, you will provide high-quality teaching and supervision for classes across the secondary curriculum. You will ensure continuity of learning for students in the absence of their regular teachers and support a positive, structured learning environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting and enjoys working with a wide range of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver planned lessons and activities across different subjects
- Maintain classroom order and a safe, positive learning environment
- Support students' learning and engagement in the absence of regular teachers
- Follow school policies and procedures for behaviour management
- Provide feedback to subject teachers on student progress and participation
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching secondary students (cover or full-time)
- Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
