Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students, tailoring your approach to their individual needs
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons
- Contribute to the creation of a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Collaborate with the teaching team to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement
- Offer pastoral care and emotional support to students, as needed
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, preferably in a primary or secondary school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the classroom
- A genuine interest in supporting the educational and personal development of young learners
- A minimum of NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant field
