Summary

We are looking for an organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the delivery of the Probation Services Practitioner Apprenticeship; a key national programme delivered on behalf of the Ministry of Justice. This role is essential in helping ensure high quality training delivery for future probation practitioners.

To provide day to day administrative and operational support to the apprenticeship delivery team, including:

- Coordinating training activities, preparing materials and supporting post training evaluation.
- Managing training bookings, attendance records, schedules and administrative systems.
- Arranging logistics for in person and online training, including liaising with venues.
- Handling routine admin tasks such as printing, collating documents and mail outs.
- Responding to enquiries and maintaining effective communication with learners, facilitators and partner organisations.
- Supporting data collection and maintaining accurate records and spreadsheets.

The working pattern for this post is consisting of 15 hours per week worked between Tuesday-Thursday.

The role requires a regular presence on campus, with the possibility of hybrid working.

The interviews are currently anticipated to be held on 06 & 07 May 2026

This appointment is a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
