Our client, a reputable and family-run franchised dealership in Northumberland, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy team. Benefits:
- Basic salary up to £38,500
- OTE approximately £43,900
- No weekend working
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (39 hours per week)
- Optional overtime available
- £500 annual tool allowance

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Conduct vehicle repairs and servicing using diagnostic tools
- Complete detailed diagnostic checks to identify faults
- Inspect vehicles for wear, tear, and general faults
- Perform repairs and maintenance to DVSA standards
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and findings
- Carry out vehicle inspections and assessments
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Relevant formal qualification (NVQ Level 3 in Automotive or similar) preferred
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Own set of tools
- Full UK driving licence
- MOT license desirable but not essential
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for automotive repair and customer satisfaction
