Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated MET Technician who can contribute to restoring a variety of vehicles to the highest standards, offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and clear pathways for progression.

Duties of the MET Technician:

- Undertake high-quality mechanical and electrical repairs across various vehicle types, including cars, vans, and HGVs
- Assess vehicle damage and determine the most effective repair methods using specialist tools and equipment
- Comply with manufacturer repair standards and industry regulations
- Perform welding, bodywork, and related tasks where required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet productivity and quality targets
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and uphold the company's high standards of workmanship

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a MET Technician, Auto Electrician, or Multiskilled Technician within accident repair
- Strong knowledge of body repair tools, equipment, and repair techniques
- Welding experience is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or ATA are desirable; support to obtain or renew certifications is available
