Summary
We are working on behalf of our reputable client to recruit a highly skilled MOT Technician for their established workshop in the Carlisle area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified MOT Tester to join a well-regarded team committed to quality service and professional development. The MOT Technician role offers a chance to develop your skills further within a supportive environment.

Duties:
- Conduct MOT tests on a wide range of vehicle makes and models, ensuring compliance with current legislation
- Carry out repairs and maintenance as required, adhering to the highest standards expected as an MOT Technician
- Complete all relevant documentation accurately and in accordance with industry regulations
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clients are informed and satisfied with the work carried out
- Maintain vehicle inspection records, safety checks, and service histories diligently
- Support the team as an MOT Technician by assisting with diagnostics and repairs when needed
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
- Valid MOT Licence
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven experience as an MOT Technician or in a similar role within the motor trade
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of current MOT legislation and vehicle diagnostics
