Summary
Are you ready to take the next step in your career and make a difference every day? We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Assistant Service Manager to join our team in Bury St Edmunds on a part-time basis (30 hours per week). This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting people with a learning disability to live fulfilling, independent lives.
Working closely with the Service Manager, you will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the service. You will help ensure high quality, person centred support is delivered consistently, while creating an environment where both the people we support and our staff team can thrive. You will provide guidance and encouragement to colleagues, lead by example, and help maintain a culture built on dignity, respect and inclusion.
This role requires flexibility, as you will be working across seven days a week on a rota basis. A full driving licence is essential, as travel forms part of the role.
We are looking for someone who brings compassion, confidence and strong organisational skills, along with the ability to build positive relationships and motivate others. Experience within social care is desirable, but above all we are seeking someone who shares our commitment to empowering people, promoting independence and ensuring every individual has choice and control in their life.
In return, you will join a supportive and values driven team where your contribution truly matters. If you are enthusiastic, committed and ready to make a meaningful impact, we would love to hear from you.
