Summary

Fairfield High School is seeking to recruit a part-time Receptionist. We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Receptionist to join our team and ensure the smooth running of the Reception areas and provide a warm and welcoming front of house for visitors, parents students and members of the public.
This post is for two days per week, working Thursdays and Fridays from 8.30am – 4.30pm (15 hours per week) term time only plus 2 Inset days, inclusive of an unpaid 30 minute lunch break.
Salary will be paid at point 5 rising to point 7, full time equivalent is £25,583 - £26,403 per annum – actual salary for 15 hours per week will be £8,829.37 up to £9,112.38 per annum.
The successful candidate will:
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Have excellent IT skills, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
• Be able to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Be proactive
• Be able to work independently and within a team
• Be reliable and flexible
• Be able to work in a calm and professional manner
• Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children within the school
Working in a busy reception environment, you will need to manage telephone calls, in person visitors to the school, radio calls and emails. Training will be given.
