Care Assistant/ Driver – Domiciliary Care

Bristol & Surrounding Areas

We’re looking for kind, reliable, and compassionate people to join our growing team at Alex C&C Healthcare to support individuals to live independently in their own homes.

In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will play a vital part in implementing care plans and assisting with daily activities, fostering a supportive environment for those in your care. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

What you’ll need:

*Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to offer Health & Care Worker visa sponsorship)
*Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
*A caring, respectful, and dependable approach

Required:

*You are required to have a full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle.
*Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. – full induction and ongoing training provided
*Ideal for career-changers or those new to care who are willing to learn
*A good understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
*Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
*Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
*A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to individuals in need.

The role may include:

*Providing companionship and emotional support
*Assisting with personal care (e.g. washing, bathing, toileting, etc)
*Supporting mobility around the home
*Prompting and supporting with medication
*Light household tasks (cleaning, cooking, tidying)
*Running errands such as shopping or collecting prescriptions
*Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in service user’s conditions.
*Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
