Rider House Nursing Home
Role: Care Assistant –Night Shifts
Please note the pay rate is under review
Some day shifts are available.
39.25 hours per week

About us
Rider House Nursing Home is a privately-owned care home registered for a maximum of 41 service users and is based in a convenient location just off the A511 and close to the A38 in Burton upon Trent.
Our aim at Rider House is to provide the highest standard of care in a relaxed, friendly environment. We ensure that residents can still enjoy the freedom and lifestyle of their choice, whilst receiving care that is appropriate to their needs built on dignity and respect and you will play a key part in this:
What you will be doing: -
To assist with care and support of the service users under the supervision of a senior in charge.
To encourage and promote the quality of life according to needs as identified in a service users personal care plan.
Assist service users with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing and eating.
Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of service users.
What you will bring:
A naturally caring approach and a passion for helping people maintain their dignity, independence, and choice.
A respectful, courteous, and compassionate nature and belief in giving your personal best at all times.
Good communication skills to effectively interact with residents and fellow colleagues.
Reliability and flexibility to support the nature of the business.
Desirable but not essential:
A diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2
Rider House Nursing Home is part of Your Health Limited. Our vision for our employees is to support and develop the staff who work for us to be the best they can be and to support this we provide free in-house on-line and classroom-based training to all care staff.
Previous experience is not required but would be welcomed.
A full induction package is provided.
Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check
