Senior Estimator
Maidstone, Kent
Starting salary: £50,000 + package


About the Role
A well-established and reputable construction contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team in Maidstone.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for leading and preparing competitive tenders across a varied portfolio including commercial, residential, and heritage projects.

Key Responsibilities
Preparing accurate cost estimates from first principles
Leading tender submissions from enquiry through to final submission
Analysing drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Managing subcontractor and supplier enquiries
Value engineering to ensure competitive and practical solutions
Collaborating with commercial and operational teams
Attending pre- and post-tender meetings

Requirements
Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator in construction
Strong understanding of building methods and materials
Experience pricing a range of projects (commercial, residential, refurbishment)
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines
Relevant qualification (desirable but not essential with experience)
