Summary
Blood tests / phlebotomy ECG recording Basic wound care and dressing checks Health checks (including height, weight, NHS health checks) Blood pressure monitoring Urinalysis Assisting colleagues with stock ordering and re-stocking clinical rooms. Assisting the GPs with minor operations and coil clinics. Chaperone support Ensuring medical equipment aligns with infection control protocols Helping to manage clinical waste collections / ensuring sharps bins are replaced when necessary Adhering to clinical guidelines and protocols, seeking guidance from the Nursing Team or clinicians for any clinical decisions Helping to restock clinical rooms with the appropriate levels of supplies and equipment medical equipment aligns with infection control protocols Helping to manage clinical waste collections / ensuring sharps bins are replaced when necessary Adhering to clinical guidelines and protocols, seeking guidance from the Nursing Team or clinicians for any clinical decisions Helping to restock clinical rooms with the appropriate levels of supplies and equipment The HCA/Phlebotomist will maintain a professional demeanour, demonstrating respect, dignity, and a compassionate approach towards patients at all times.
