We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Practitioner to join our Early Years team. In this key role, you will lead the delivery of a high-quality early years service while working closely with a dedicated team of practitioners and supported by the Childcare Manager. Together, you will ensure every child receives the best possible care and learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support a team of early years practitioners, promoting a positive, collaborative, and professional environment.
• Work closely with the Childcare Manager to plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality early years experiences.
• Mentor, coach, and develop staff to ensure continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Foster strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, ensuring open communication and a collaborative approach.
• Maintain high standards of practice in line with statutory requirements and best practice guidance.
Person Specification:
• SVQ Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent qualification is essential.
• Proven experience in a leadership or senior practitioner role within early years childcare.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and passionate about early years development.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team while providing guidance and support to colleagues.
